Not very welcoming staff!

Unexpected pool closure mishap

The room was clean and comfy, contributing to a relaxed atmosphere.

I was disappointed that the pool was closed for cleaning the entire time. It reminded me of a major letdown since it was one of the main attractions of the hotel.

Staff were helpful and attentive.

I had a brand-new and large room with 2 queen bed, a working air conditioning, the usual good microwave oven and everything was good.

Solo travelers beware

The staff was decent enough and the breakfast wasn't too bad. They had a good variety of foods like eggs and turkey sausage that I didn't expect at a place like this.

It wasn't exactly a steal for the quality, but acceptable enough, I suppose.

Loved the room by front desk, my bed was exceptionally comfortable. A fridge, coffee/tea making equipment and a writing desk were available in the room: D

Ordered breakfast, it was cramped, it should be much better, really.

Central location. Easily accessible. Nice atmosphere... Good breakfast.

Really good Staff and Breakfast!

The staff was friendly, particularly Princess at the reception. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the shower pressure that could use improvement.

Location near Marta, room was updated and nice and clean

The lobby and the elevators were worn down and outdated

The Staff in the hotel were very courteous and customer service oriented, except for the rep. at the counter when we wanted to check in. See comments in what we didn't like.

However we had a very difficult check-in with the female rep. at the counter. Not sure of her name but was petite, black female with hair that flipped up. We had an extremely difficult time and the staff, i.e., maids, service people (males) etc., were all trying to help us get our room earlier. Rep. at the counter told the "help" that she could not check us in until it was noted in the system. Great staff throughout the hotel, however this 1 person at the counter almost made us decide to leave rather than stay for a 4 night visit. I have been a Hilton Honors Frequent visitor of Hampton Inns for years. Never have been treated like this before.

We explored Zoo Atlanta and had a blast at the pool. The rooms were cozy, and we enjoyed cable TV and Nintendo games. Breakfast was solid, and the staff were friendly. Just a heads up, the parking was easy and came with a pass for our visitor, super convenient.

The only downside was the shower curtain situation. It didn't reach the tub, made for some fun water battles on the bathroom floor.

Good bed & bath. Recent renovation is attractive.

Not much space in room after 2 king size beds. No closet, just rod protruding from wall.

Breakfast and to go breakfast always good. Good brand toiletries and daily newspaper. Staff was friendly and attentive.

We did not care for the pillows. Difficulties opening the door even after rekeyed.
